Just to clarify, I wasn't denigrating Donna or Keith, as someone pointed out, sometimes she was a little shrill on songs such as Playin', but she added some great feel to a lot of songs as well, Looks Like Rain for example. In addition, her vocal experimentations were no more annoying or egregious than Bob's vocal outings later on, for instances the Ahh Hahs in Prophet. Keith was a great player as well,especially from 72-76 . His last few years, however, were not, as suggested earlier, the greatest years since 1969. I saw about 45 shows in 77 and 78 and keith was less and less prevalent as that time wore on, and his unwillingness to play electric hurt the band's progress in general. In my opinion Brent's first 3 years were far superior to Keiths last 3 years. The one thing that wasn't better was song selection, because Brent hadn't learned as many songs as Keith knew.
